A friend of ours’ sister’s birthday was coming up and we were commissioned to create a piece that communicated some of her interests. She studies languages and philosophy, so we used a quote by Carl Jung as inspiration.
The quote read “Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you”.
Inspired by the busy scenes in Where’s Wally pieces, a museum (an environment specific to the client’s interests) filled with seemingly insane people was created and invites the viewer to find the ‘sane man’. This emphasizes the idea that sanity is subjective.
